CRUCIAL WIN FOR DERGVIEW AT 'BREDA PARK

Dergview picked up an important three points with victory over Knockbreda at Breda Park.

Both sides missed chances in the opening quarter-of-an-hour before, on 23 minutes, some poor home defending led to Emmett McGuckin firing home from six yards.

Dergview's lead was extended two minutes later when a knockdown saw Adam Buchanan shoot low into the net from 20 yards.

The visitors went on to seal the points late on with two further goals, a penalty from McGuckin and then player-manager Ivan Sproule.
