Matthew Ferguson (52)

Lukasz Adamczyk (02)
Reece Neale (87)

Carrick Rangers secured the runners-up spot in the Bluefin Sport Championship following this victory over HW Welders at Tillysburn Park.

Lukasz Adamczyk opened the scoring for Rangers as early as the second minute when he raced through the defence to side foot into the bottom corner.

Adamczyk had the ball in the net again half-an-hour later when he lifted the ball over keeper Matthew Anderson but this was ruled out offside.

The Welders levelled seven minutes into the second half through Matthew Ferguson after the ball fell at his feet.

That was how it stayed until three minutes from time when Reece Neale grabbed what proved to be Carrick's winner when he hammered the ball home at the back post.
