Action from Ferney Park (Picture: Billy Emerson/

BALLINAMALLARD made it three wins from three against Tobermore and extended their lead at the top of the Belfast Telegraph Championship 1 table to 10 points.

The Mallards dominated the first half but found it difficult to get past inspirational goalkeeper Sammy Foster who denied Hutchinson, Kee and Chris Curran on three seperate occasions.

Neil Lamont did however clip the outside of the post from an acute angle on the half hour mark for Tobermore, during a rare first half attack.

The Fermanagh side created some breathing space on 53 minutes though when Jason McCartney scored from the spot after Andy Crawford had been up-pended by Sammy Foster.

Stuart Millar cleared a Craig Hill header off the goal line before Davy Kee got the Mallards second of the game with a deflected free kick on 73 minutes, as the one way traffic continued.

Leon Carters headed against the crossbar for the Blues but Tobermore ensured a nervy finish when John Neill scored from close range on 78 minutes.
