GLENS DO ENOUGH TO SEE OFF DERGVIEW
Glentoran did enough to get past Dergview to reach the last 16 of the BetMcLean Cup.
The Glens moved in front after nine minutes when Charlie Lindsay sent a composed finish past keeper Dylan Doherty after connecting with Daniel Amos' pass.
Despite a number of close calls that was how it stayed until right at the end.
Dergview thought they had levelled on 89 minutes when Dale Maxwell scrambled the ball home at the right post but this was ruled out by the officials.
But Glentoran made sure of their place in the next round moments after that when David Fisher ran onto a Fuad Sule punt forward to knock the ball home from inside the area.
