LAST GASP DOUBLE BREAKS DERGVIEW HEARTS
Glenavon needed two goals right at the end of extra-time to see off Championship opponents Dergview at Mourneview Park.
Scoreless at the break, Glenavon came closest to opening the scoring with around a quarter-of-an-hour of normal time remaining when Isaac Baird hit the corner of crossbar and post with a lofted effort from distance.
The visitors finally broke the deadlock early in the second half of extra-time when Marc Kirk smashed the ball into the roof of the net after a corner fell from him six yards out.
But just as Dergview thought they had done enough to secure a famous victory Sean Ward popped up with Glenavon's 119th minute equaliser with a sweet volley from the edge of the box.
Then, amid scenes of joy and despair in equal measure, Ward struck again two minutes into added time after cutting in from the right to find the corner of the net.
