SEASIDERS PUSH BANNSIDERS ALL THE WAY
Last season's losing finalists Coleraine needed extra-time to get past Bangor in the first round of the BetMcLean Cup.
Scoreless at the break, both sides came close just before in the interval with Coleraine keeper Martin Gallagher forced to punch clear a goalbound Reece Neale corner while, at the other end, only a timely Ben Cushnie clearance denied Darren Cole.
The deadlock was finally broken right at the end of normal time after Lyndon Kane's cross was headed home by Matthew Shevlin.
But the Seasiders bounced back five minutes into stoppage time courtesy of a Ben Arthurs spot-kick.
However, what proved to be the winner came eight minutes into extra-time when Lee Lynch unleashed a thundering effort past James Taylor from fully 25 yards.
