FIRST HALF GOALS ENOUGH FOR CARRICK
Carrick Rangers swept past Premier Intermediate League visitors Moyola Park with all the goals coming before the break.
Stuart King's side moved in front as early as the eight minute with a rifled David Cushley finish into the top corner from 20 yards after the ball broke for him from a blocked Kurtis Forsythe effort.
Danny Purkis doubled the home advantage midway through the half from close range after a goalmouth scramble.
Moyola pulled one back seven minutes from the break when Tom Patchett raced through one-on-one to slot the ball past keeper Ben McCauley but, sixty seconds later, Purkis had restored Carrick's two-goal lead with a low, powerful left-foot finish.
And the scoring was completed in stoppage time when Curtis Allen got his head to corner to divert the ball into the far corner.
