GLENS EDGE PAST VILLAGERS INTO SEMI-FINALS
Two goals early in the second half proved enough for Glentoran to get past Championship leaders Loughgall at Lakeview Park.
Scoreless at the break, although Danny Purkis did clip the woodwork at one point, the Glens moved in front on 53 minutes when Terry Devlin superbly ran onto the loose ball from an Alistair Roy effort to rifle high into the net.
Then, four minutes after that, Bobby Burns doubled Glentoran's lead after following the ball into the area and firing home from close range.
