STANGMORE DRAMA BUT SWIFTS REACH QUARTERS
Dungannon Swifts progressed the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean Cup amid dramatic scenes at Stangmore Park.
Portadown moved in front as early as the fifth minute when a deep cross from Joe Moore found Jonah Mitchell who duly beat Declan Dunne with a thumping finish.
And that was how it stayed until the fifth minute of stoppage time when Rhyss Campbell levelled for the Swifts with the last kick of normal time.
Then, remarkably, two minutes into extra-time Campbell struck again - via a deflection - to edge the Swifts into the lead and, ultimately, the last eight.
