CONVIE AT THE DOUBLE AS SWIFTS PROGRESS
Two James Convie goals helped Dungannon Swifts progress to the last 16 of the BetMcLean Cup at the expense of Queen's University.
Scoreless at the break, Convie opened the scoring just after the hour when John Scott cut the ball back into his path to slide a shot past keeper Dean Smyth.
Then, four minutes after that, Convie doubled up after receiving a pass from Brendan Barr to confidently bag his second of the evening.
And Barr completed the scoring with just over a quarter-of-an-hour to go with a curling effort into the top corner after Ben Cushnie's lay-off from the left.
