FIVE STAR CARRICK SAFELY THROUGH
Emmett McGuckin bagged a double as Carrick Rangers hit five goals without reply past Banbridge Town at the Loughview Leisure Arena.
Curtis Allen opened the scoring on ten minutes from a McGuckin pass, before McGuckin himself got on the scoresheet to double Carrick's lead midway through the first half.
Andy Mitchell added a third just before the break with a spectacular 25-yard drive into the top corner.
McGuckin made it 4-0 early in the second half with a header from Mitchell's corner before, with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, substitute Aodhan Gillen completed the scoring with a low drilled effort into the bottom corner.
