Three first half goals helped Dungannon Swifts stroll past Armagh City and into the third round of the BetMcLean League Cup.
Indeed, the real damage was done inside the opening ten minutes when an early double put the Swifts very much in the driving seat.
Joe McCready fired the Swifts in front on five minutes with a tap in after Caolan McAleer got past a defender before cutting the ball back across the face of goal.
Then, barely sixty seconds later, McAleer got on the scoresheet himself with a right foot finish into the bottom corner after pouncing on a wayward pass.
And Dean Shiels' side added to their lead just after the half-hour mark through substitute Ben Gallagher who reacted quickest to make it 3-0 after City keeper Mackenzie Pauley spilled an Oisin Smyth cross.
There were no further goals after the break but Dungannon did create plenty of opportunities, coming closest late in the game through James Convie who cannoned the ball off the bar with Pauley parried McAleer's follow-up around the post.
