SKY BLUES HIT DOLLYBIRDS FOR SIX
Ballymena United hit Dollingstown for six at The Showgrounds to reach the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup.
Kenneth Kane fired the Sky Blues in front after 25 minutes - his first goal for the club - after Josh Kelly's touch played him clear.
Kane then turned provider moments from the break to tee up Leroy Millar to double United's lead before, early in the second half, Kane crossed from the left for Shane McGinty to head home a third.
His efforts deserved another goal, and it duly arrived on 55 minutes when he doubled his tally when Millar returned the favour by playing him through to finish with his right foot.
Then, on 71 minutes, Millar grabbed his second of the evening after McGinty ran into the box before pulling the ball back.
Ryan Mayse completed the scoring in the final moments after picking the ball up well outside the box before firing past Steven Maguire.
