REDS EASE THROUGH AT MILL MEADOW
Cliftonville defeated Moyola Park at Mill Meadow to secure a place in the next round of the BetMcLean League Cup.
The Reds moved in front midway through the first half when, after a patient build up on the right, Aaron Donnelly laid the ball off for Chris Curran to beat keeper Dwayne Nelson from the edge of the box.
Moyola levelled on the stroke of half-time through Daniel McIlhatton but parity only lasted until just after the hour when Joe Gormley's free-kick deflected off the wall to wrong foot Nelson.
And Cliftonville booked their place in the last 16 thanks to Conor McMenamin's finished after Garry Breen found him at the end of surging run down the left.
