Cliftonville Ladies were founding members of the NIFL Women's Premiership in 2016. They finished runners-up that season, a feat they later repeated in 2021, but can trace their involvement in top flight women's football back to 2004.
The Reds claimed the Irish Cup for the first, and so far only, time in 2015 before reaching the decider again in 2016 only to lose to Linfield. They also lifted the Premiership League Cup in 2015, and the Co. Antrim Women's Cup in 2018.
They eventually went on to win their first league title in 2022 and followed it up with the League Cup the following season.
Cliftonville provide several players to the senior Northern Ireland squad, amongst them skipper Marissa Callaghan and sisters Kirsty and Caitlin McGuinness.
