Regulars in the top flight on Women's football, United achieved a best position of third in three seasons out of four from 2009-2013, and reached the final of the 2012 Premier League Cup.
However, the club suffered relegation in 2015, the last pre-NIFL campaign, but stormed to the Championship title - and with it promotion - the following season but a disappointing campaign saw the Sky Blues survive only one term in the Women's Premiership before making a return to the second tier.
