McGUINNESS SISTERS HELP REDS TO THE POINTS
Cliftonville Ladies swept to a convincing victory over Sion Swifts Ladies at the Melvin Sports Complex.
The Reds moved in front as early as the 12th minute when Caitlin McGuinness sent a low strike past keeper Jennifer Currie.
That was how it stayed until just after the hour when McGuinness doubled up when sister Kirsty sent over that she ran on to and nodded beyond Currie.
Reds skipper Marissa Callaghan added a third on 71 minutes with a dipping volley.
Sion bagged a 90th minute consolation through Tara O'Connor-Farren but Kirsty restored Cliftonville's three-goal lead in stoppage time with a calm finish after advancing into the box.
