WOODWORK RATTLED BUT NO GOALS AT WILGAR

The Duns might have gone in front as early as the third minute when Gary Irwin rattled the City post while, soon after, Mark McClelland fired just over.

Scoreless at the break, the visitors almost snatched lead midway through the second half with a Matthew Hynds drive against the crossbar.

The sides were trading chances. David McMaster floated over a dangerous cross for City but no-one could connect while Ben Murdock had a great effort for Dundela but failed to find the target.

Ultimately, however, neither side could find a way through.
