HOOPS BACK ON TRACK FOLLOWING NEWINGTON WIN

Donegal Celtic returned to winning ways and maintained their place at the top of the Premier Intermediate League with this home defeat of Newington.

Karl Rossborough grabbed his sixth goal of the season on 42 minutes when he fired the Hoops into the lead from the spot.

Kevin Hughes joined him on half a dozen goals to double Celtic's advantage on the hour before, with 20 minutes remaining, Mark Burns completed the scoring.
