FOUR OFF AT BREDA PARK BUT COMRADES CLAIM POINTS

The visitors took the lead on ten minutes when Paul Maguire converted from the spot after Mark Kelly had been impeded by home defender Ryan Arthur.

'Breda might have levelled later in the first half only for Ciaran Murray to turn the ball against an upright - but he did go one better not long after the break with a superbly struck free-kick from the edge of the box into the roof of the net.

Ballyclare were reduced to ten men soon after when Kelly was dismissed for violent conduct.

However, the numbers were balanced again just after the hour when 'Breda's Nathan McVeigh was sent-off for serious foul play before Samuel McIlveen edged the visitors back in front with what ultimately proved to be the winner, a well taken free-kick past Paul Cairnduff at the near post.

And the hosts suffered further blows as the game wound down with both William McBurney and James Patterson receiving second cautions.
