Limavady United progressed to the second round of the Northern Ireland League Cup following a narrow defeat of Queen's University at The Showgrounds.
Paul Owens' side moved in front after a quarter-of-an-hour through Robbie Hume but the Students levelled ten minutes from the break courtesy of a Nathan Jones finish.
That was how it stayed for the rest of normal time before John Gibson turned the ball into his own net three minutes into the second period of extra-time.
The Roesiders travel to face neighbours Coleraine in the second round on August 30th.
