Cliftonville cruised into the last eight of the BetMcLean League Cup with a seven-goal thumping of the PSNI at Solitude.
The Reds needed just five minutes to open the scoring with Daniel Hughes converting from the spot after he had initially been upended by Dylan Wilson.
Then, three minutes later, Stephen Garrett made it 2-0 with the finish after Ciaran Caldwell's effort had been kept out.
The scoring continued on 17 minutes. On this occasion Garrett saw a shot saved before Jay Donnelly tucked away the rebound.
Hughes then added a fourth for Barry Gray's side on 24 minutes from a Caldwell lay-off while number five arrived in somewhat bizarre circumstances just before the half-hour mark when PSNI defender Scott McCrory crossed the ball into his own net from out on the right flank.
Garrett extended Cliftonville's advantage half-an-hour later with the finish after Jay Donnelly had nodded on a free-kick while, a couple of minutes after that, Donnelly himself doubled his tally after connecting with Marty Donnelly's delivery.
