'POINT RECOVER FROM TWO DOWN TO PROGRESS

Two goals from Tiarnan Mulvenna and Conor McMcMenamin saw Warrenpoint come from behind to defeat Banbridge Town.

The visitors raced into an early lead with two goals inside the opening half-an-hour.

On four minutes Ryan Moffatt got the ball rolling with a successfully converted spot-kick before doubling his tally in the 25th minute with a header from Neil Clydesdale free-kick.

'Point pulled a goal back on 32 minutes when Mulvenna knocked home the second penalty of the game.

Barry Gray's side pulled level with six minutes remaining courtesy of second half substitute McMenamin forcing the game into extra-time.

And McMenamin struck again on 102 minutes to fire Warrenpoint in front for the first time before Mulvenna completed the scoring 12 minutes after that to ensure victory for Town.
