Declan O'Brien helped himself to four goals as Glenavon swept past Tobermore United at Mourneview Park.
O'Brien nodded the Lurgan Blues into an early lead when, on 14 minutes, he was first to a Mark Patton cross to the near post.
United 'keeper Matthew McGraw prevented Glenavon from doubling their advantage five minutes after that with a superb stop to deny Eoin Bradley from point blank range after Patton had delivered another ball.
However, Glenavon did grab their second on 34 minutes courtesy of Andy Hall's finish with a flicked backward header from yet another Patton cross.
Then, just before the break, Patton provided the assist once again for O'Brien to beat McGraw with a diving header.
O'Brien grabbed his hat-trick on 53 minutes after that man Patton and Bradley teamed up to create the opening.
And the scoring was complete just sixty seconds after that with O'Brien's fourth of the evening, a neat finish after Hall had played him through.
