TEN-MAN BANNSIDERS MAKE IT THREE ON THE BOUNCE

Coleraine signalled their intent for the season ahead with this defeat of Crusaders at Seaview despite playing the last half-an-hour or so with ten men.

Eoin Bradley nodded the Bannsiders in front on 20 minutes from inside the six yard box after Stephen O'Donnell connected with a corner to nod it back into the danger zone.

Then, right at the end of the first half, O'Donnell added a second for Coleraine with a header following some poor home defending.

Coleraine were reduced to ten men just after the hour when David Ogilby was shown a second yellow card after being adjudged to have handled a through ball to Crues frontman Paul Heatley.

However, the Crues could only muster a stoppage goal in response when substitute Jordan Forsythe finished crisply after Jordan Owens had headed the ball down inside the box.
