MALLARDS END ON MAYSE INSPIRED HIGH

Ryan Mayse bagged a double as Ballinamallard United cruised to a last day defeat of Carrick Rangers at Ferney Park.7

The 23-year-old ended the league campaign with nine goals after finding the net in the 4th (from the spot) and 19th minutes after collecting the ball from Niall Owens' left-wing cross.

Daniel Kelly pulled one back with a header on 37 minutes but, soon after, Ryan Curran restored the Mallards two-goal cushion. Substitute Ryan Curran completed the scoring with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
