LOWRY WINNER SEES BLUES CLOSE GAP

Stephen Lowry grabbed Linfield's late winner as they came from a goal down to secure all three points from this visit to Ferney Park.

Ryan Curran had given the Mallards the lead after half-an-hour with a long range effort but Aaron Burns levelled for David Healy's side early in the second half after connecting with an Andrew Waterworth cross.

That was how it stayed until four minutes from time when Lowry earned the points for Linfield with a right-foot volley into the top right corner.
