EIGHT IS GREAT FOR THE BANNSIDERS

Coleraine made it eight wins in a row after coming from behind to defeat Dungannon Swifts at The Showgrounds.

The Swifts might have moved in front as early as the fifth minute when Kris Lowe turned an effort into the side netting.

At the other end Ciaron Harkin teed up Ian Parkhill but his left-foot strike was well saved while a Jamie McGonigle shot went wide soon after.

Dungannon did take the lead on 36 minutes when Ryan Harpur knocked a spot-kick home into the bottom corner after David Kee had upended Lowe on the edge of the box.

The Bannsiders levelled nine minutes into the second half, again from the spot, after Andrew Burns was adjudged to have stopped a McCauley effort with his arm. McCauley then duly stepped up to beat Andy Coleman into the bottom corner.

The visitors were reduced to ten men on the hour following Seanan Clucas' straight red card for what appearing to be kicking Lyndon Kane.

Coleraine made the most of the extra man on 71 minutes when James McLaughlin got his head to a superb Gareth McConaghie delivery to direct the ball beyond Coleman to seal the points for Oran Kearney's side.
